KT, Microsoft launch enterprise AI hub in Seoul

KT Corp. said Monday that it has launched the KT Innovation Hub, a dedicated consulting and experience space focused on enterprise artificial intelligence, developed in collaboration with Microsoft.
Located at KT’s office in Gwanghwamun, central Seoul, the 595-square-meter facility is designed to accelerate digital transformation for corporate clients by showcasing immersive artificial intelligence solutions and offering tailored consulting services.
The hub marks a key milestone in KT’s strategic alliance with Microsoft, aimed at driving business-to-business AI adoption through co-developed prototypes and customized automation strategies.
Divided into four thematic zones — the AX (AI transformation) gallery, conference room, develop studio and recharge zone — the hub provides an interactive environment where enterprise visitors can explore, experiment with and refine AI-driven solutions.
The AX gallery features hands-on displays powered by voice and touch interfaces. A standout is the “multiagent” demonstration, where multiple AI agents cooperate autonomously to deliver optimized responses — a notable advancement from conventional single-agent models.
The conference room and develop studio serve as collaborative workspaces where clients receive end-to-end support from AI transformation specialists from both KT and Microsoft. These teams help businesses identify digital pain points, build innovation road maps and even develop functional prototypes within as little as five days. For example, companies can simulate AI-enhanced call center operations before committing to full deployment.
The facility will be operated by KT’s AI transformation division focused on expanding AI adoption among enterprises new to digital innovation. By offering real-world demonstrations and strategic insights, the division aims to foster broader AI engagement across industries.
Microsoft is supporting the initiative with technical resources, consulting expertise and go-to-market strategies. KT said it will continue scaling the hub’s capabilities by leveraging Microsoft’s global engineering and industry know-how to position the space as a regional AI innovation hub for the Asia-Pacific.
“We are already seeing tangible outcomes from our internal AI transformation,” said Jung Woo-jin, head of strategy and business consulting group at KT. “Our collaboration with Microsoft is only the beginning. We plan to deepen partnerships across industry, government and academia to accelerate AI-driven growth.”
